As one of the few state boarding schools in the country, Cranbrook School provides free education for both day students and interns. The only charges incurred are for housing and residence costs for inmates, which are much lower than the rates of the independent sector. The Cranbrook Academy of Art is a graduate school that offers only Master of Architecture and Master of Fine Arts degrees. The Academy is dedicated to helping students with disabilities to the extent possible, given construction, personnel and monetary restrictions, and will comply with federal and state laws as necessary.
