Cranbrook Schools offers a flexible and balanced academic program, excellent infrastructure, a convenient territorial location, and professional teachers.

The main objective of the institution is to put diverse knowledge in the minds of students, but also to develop them in a comprehensive and harmonious way, in order to form a real person, capable of living and having a successful career in the modern international community. During the summer months, Cranbrook Schools conduct a variety of day and boarding programs on their campus. These include day camps, a soccer clinic, a film seminar, a compensatory educational program for students from low-income families, a jazz ensemble, ice hockey, lacrosse and tennis camps, as well as the Cranbrook Theater School. Actor Robert Englund taught one summer at drama school.

In 1985, Cranbrook School and Kingswood School merged to create a blended higher school, the Cranbrook Kingswood Upper School. The design was chosen by William Oliver Stevens, the first director of the Cranbrook School, who drew it. As one of the few state boarding schools in the country, education provided by Cranbrook School is free for both day students and interns. Cranbrook Kingswood now has 70 sports teams; both men's and women's teams won state championship titles in hockey, tennis, lacrosse, golf and swimming.

Cranbrook Kingswood accepts just under half of the applicants, placing it in the 25% of the most selective high schools in the United States. In 1923, Booth founded an Episcopal Church to serve the fledgling Cranbrook community, as well as surrounding communities. Cranbrook Schools consistently ranks first on the list of the best boarding schools in the United States. This is due to its magnificent teaching and learning environment that values and challenges the individual; encourages creative, critical and independent thinking; and offers the widest range of study, artistic and sports options. Cranbrook graduates include an impressive number of National Merit finalists and Advanced Placement Fellows. Architecture critic Paul Goldberger of The New York Times called the Cranbrook campus one of the best campuses ever created in the world.

In addition to its academic excellence, Cranbrook Schools also offers scholarships for those who need financial assistance. These scholarships will be deducted from the total tuition costs when determining the student's liability for reimbursement purposes.
