Grammar Overview

Developing our Students

The early years at Cranbrook Grammar are designed to open new intellectual horizons, to develop skills in research and debate and to establish the good habits of time management and self-discipline. New joiners in Year Seven are welcomed to Cranbrook through an induction day in the summer term. This gives them an opportunity to meet their form tutor and fellow students.

In their first few weeks, both their form tutor and Head of Year are very important in helping students adjust to their new environment. A"meeting the teachers" evening is held during the autumn term, enabling parents to raise any matters they wish.

We have a very strong Personal Social Health and Economic (PSHE) programme and students are taught to understand the expectations of them as Cranbrook students. We believe very stongly in traditional values, an ethos which is reinforced throughout the student's life at the school.

Cranbrook School have high expectations of students and teachers alike, as evidenced in our teaching and results.
