Research/find at least 2 newspaper articles that are geographically relevant and are published during the Easter Holiday period. It can be anything from climate change to earthquakes, as long as it happened during the 3 week break.

Research a modern fictional hero – e.g. Superman/Harry Potter etc. and explain how their story fits into the structure of myths.

ICT - Students are to complete the presentation homework 1 sheet and complete a presentation on launching a new album. Please use the worksheet provided

Geography -

Research/find at least 2 newspaper articles based on tourism (must be from 2011 onwards), focus on the impact of tourism across the world – can be positive and negative impacts.

Write a short story using the conventions of gothic fiction – i.e. gothic vocabulary, figurative and descriptive language, the 5 senses etc. Your story should be 2-3 sides in length. Remember to proofread to correct spelling, punctuation and expression errors.

ICT- Students are expected to research their 5 favourite architecture buildings and explain why they like it. Students must place a picture of the building and the reasons on a word document.

  1. Revise for mock exams after Easter – Human Environment (Population and Tourist World) and Natural Environment (Coasts and Wasteful World).
  2. Complete past exam questions (provided to the students)
  3. Practice diagrams for coasts (e.g. Spits, LSD, headlands and bays)
